Glass neon works from 220 Volts through high-voltage transformers that increase the voltage. The LED we use works from 5 (rarely) and 12 Volts. The latter can be healed:

- directly from 12 Volts (battery from a screwdriver, automobile);
- from 220 Volts through a network adapter (power supply unit), which reduces the voltage (in the comelect);
- from USB through an adapter from 5 to 12 Volts (only lamps);
- through 8 AA (finger) batteries of 1.5 Volt each;
- through a 9 Volt crown battery (dim).
